Walk quickly, but don't make a misstep - someone is watching, someone is following you!
Unveiled - Edinburgh - Espionage is a pop-up, immersive, outdoor, interactive game set in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. You are tasked with completing a mission without being followed across town, the aim is to complete your drop-off and not lead your enemies to the secret location. In return you must follow traitors through the streets to ensure that your secrets do not fall into the wrong hands, don't lose them at any costs.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a Spy? To complete a secret mission whilst being followed? Join our team of Agents to experience the thrill of secret missions, walkie-talkie radios and vanishing into the winding streets of Edinburgh.
We hae a variety of play modes, working in 2 teams, or all Agents vs Solo Spy. Players will get to be both a lone rogue spy, and part of a tracking team armed with walkie-talkies. Your Handler will lead a full game briefing, setting and timing each mission. This unique experience will take you deep into the heart of historic Auld Reekie– don’t let your secrets fall into the wrong hands!
Game runs for approx 2 hours. Suitable for solo players, groups of friends and families – teams will be organised by your Handler, families with under 16’s will be on the same team.

What is this?
A fun, immersive, family friendly game tracking spies through Edinburgh's Old Town streets. Join forces to hunt down the nefarious ne'er-do-wells. Who are these dastardly spies? Well you all take turns being one, using your tradecraft skills to elude detection and capture vital intelligence.
You play outdoors?
Our game takes place outdoors and will go ahead in most weather conditions. If a weather warning is issued by the Met Office we will not go ahead but otherwise we aim to play even if it is raining. Scottish weather can be unpredictable so dress accordingly including rain and sun protection.
How do I check the Met Office?

Are you accessible?
We aim to be accessible but please contact us directly to discuss any additional accommodations we can make based on your needs, it's an outdoors ambulatory experience with wheeled options but may not be suitable for all but we will modify where possible to allow as many to play as we can.
What do I need to play?
Suitable footwear as the game involves lots of walking around the scenic closes and streets of Edinburgh's Old Town. We play outdoors so there are no dedicated toilet facilities. Snacks and drinks bring if you need them. There is a great local coffee shop and a convenience store close by.
Do I have to dress like a spy to play?
No but we actively encourage it! And you can be sure your Handler will be suitably attired for espionage.
Safety First?
We're a fun, immersive, playful event engaging you in local places and spaces! But it's the real world, physics apply, we ask you not to run but to play stealthily, respect players, people and property - use common sense at all times. No under the influence of drugs and alcohol during game please!
Can pups play?
If your dog can play nice with humans and other animals and is on a lead then they are warmly welcomed! They will need to be able to walk around sufficiently well to play the game with you. And they will of course make you easier to spot.. Our resident spy pup may even make an appearance at times!
Ticket Info
We ask that children under 16 are accompanied by an adult in game subject to parental discretion/safety requirements. Under 5s do not need a ticket - this is just a guideline we are flexible, if your child is able to play with your team and have fun exploring the city via our game get them a ticket
Where are you located/how do I get there?
All will be revealed on sign up but we play on and around the Royal Mile. There are many public transport options to get to there and we are close to major bus and train stations although you may have to walk some of the Mile to et to our exact start point.
How does it work? Teams?
You will get a detailed briefing from your Handler on the day but we'll split you into teams being mindful of family/kids logistics and you'll take turns being the Spy and being the Agents tracking them. Sometimes it is team v team other times solo Spy v everyone else. We adjust play style to suit.
