Dragonmeet 2025
MFWG is off to Dragonmeet (thanks John Dodd) today in the form of founder ABS.
It has been held at the Novotel in Hammersmith for many years but was definitely bursting at the seams there so now it's moved to the ExCel, We're excited to see what the new venue will be like.
At Team MFWG we always like to go to a few seminars, increase our knowledge and learn from our peers but #ProTip leave breaks in between to top up your bandwidth, mooch, look at traders and games and most importantly catchup with friends old and new.
We'll be at the Mongoose Publishing seminar at 12.30 as we're really interested in hearing how an employee owned company fares in the TTRPG space.
Then the 'Monster Man' himself James Holloway (old mate) & Paolo from the Lost Pages (fellow Caledonia dweller) talking 'Making Magic 'Marvelous at 14.30.
The always excellent live recording of Ken and Robin Talk About Stuff (KARTAS) podcast, well worth a listen with the eponymous Kenneth Hite and Robin D. Laws at 17.30 and definitely going to check out Darkened Hill and Dale by Sarah Cole of Patchwork Fez Games - how good does it look!
Also hopefully get to see Gareth Hanrahan and Lynne Hardy cos they are ace as well as the excellent folks from Never Mind The Dice Rolls zine & pals from the Grognard Files (again an excellent listen) Grog Squad, Tabletop Scotland and the Conpulsion Edinburgh crews! #TTRPG #Dragonmeet
